Searching for Files and Folders
Data LifeSaver offers you the comfort of searching for folders and files.
Start the search module after completetion of the scan by going to `Recover -> Search´.
Type the file extension you want into the search field. Here are some examples:

- .doc - Word documents
- .jpg - JPEG images
- .bmp - Bitmap images
- .xls - Exel files
- Ver - all files and folders containing the letters 'Ver'
- * - all files and folders (not recommended)
If you are not sure about the object name you can search for a little piece of the name. Data LifeSaver will find all objects in this name group.
A chronological order will help you to find the newest files on reformatted drives.
